     On December 13th in Playa Guiones,  Nosara Artisans will be begin their monthly summer Art Fairs!  Forty national and international artists and designers are participating in the 4th Nosara Artisans’ Holiday Art Fair.  From fine art such as Surf Art by Kathryn Colvig to ocean inspired pottery from Ceramica del Mar, Nosara Artisans’ fairs offer a unique opportunity to browse art, clothing and natural products handmade in Costa Rica.  There will be live music with musician Luis Martinez, who specializes in bossa nova and pop, and fun activities like henna tattoos.  To raise money for Escuelita Verano, Saskia Ellemeet is returning with her popular face painting!

   For those interested in one of a kind, soulful art, Cy Rinkel will be displaying her upcycled creations representing all spiritual genres including the Virgin Mary, Buddha and Quan Yin.  Juan & Virginia from Madera Arte will have their macramé and hand carved jewelry which is inspired by sacred geometry and yoga.  Check out Adorning Aphrodite by Ashley Laux , “Jewelry that sings to the soul” made with polished gemstones, precious metals, organic shells, feathers, and pearls.  Also, Aya from Cura Sana will be selling her natural medicines and beauty serums.

    Looking for stylish beach wear and organic clothing made in Costa Rica? San Jose designer, Hilo de Pez will be traveling to Guanacaste to share her bikinis, clothing and fun accessories.  Nosara resident, Bibi Bendixen, will have hand dyed sarongs, pillows and tote bags and La Tigra will be showing her jewelry made with stones, shells, chains, and silver.  From Playa Tamarindo, Suspiro Esmeralda Bikinis and Pura Vida Signs are bringing their cute bikinis, custom wood carvings and art. Plus Sandalo Art Boutique, located in Playa Samara, will be displaying her bohemian clothing, jewelry and accessories.  

    An art fair in Costa Rica would not be complete without homage to the “naturaleza”, Fine Art by Nathan Miller specializes in portraits of Nosara wildlife and the beach community.  Photographer Matt Vaughan will be displaying his original surf and nature prints.  Local artist, Wilson is selling his jewelry created from seeds, shells and wood found in Nosara.  Check out Guanacaste landscapes and cultural portraits by photographer Ricky Friedlander.  Beach Blend Coffee will also, be at the fair with unique mixtures of Costa Rica's finest coffee beans.

    Community organizations are invited to participate at the art fairs like Refuge for Wildlife. Sharing information about their wildlife sanctuary, they will have a cupcake decorating activity for kids and selling jewelry & crafts with a 100% of the profits going to the sanctuary! Also, the Nosara small business initiative Vive el sueño, Pura Vida Perros, and the Artists from the Nosara Recycle Center will be attending the fair and fundraising with a variety of holiday gifts and products.

All fairs take place from 10-2pm at Pacifico Azul Restaurant in The Gilded Iguana Hotel.  Relax by their pool and enjoy brunch with one of their fruit frescos or cocktails!      El 13 de diciembre en Playa Guiones, Nosara Artesanos habrá comensado a hacer Ferias de Arte de Verano! Cuarenta artistas nacionales y internacionales están participando en la Feria de Arte de Diciembre. Nosara ferias de artesanos ofrecen una oportunidad única para explorar el arte, ropa y productos naturales hechos a mano en Costa Rica. Habrá música en vivo con el músico Luis Martínez, quien se especializa en la bossa nova y el pop, y actividades divertidas, como tatuajes de henna. Para recaudar fondos para la Escuelita de Verano, Saskia Ellemeet regresa con su pintura de caritas!

   Para aquellos interesados en el arte spiritual Cy Rinkel estará exhibiendo sus creaciones que representan todos los géneros espirituales incluyendo la Virgen María, Buda y Quan Yin. Juan y Virginia de Madera Arte tendrán sus joyas de macramé y unos tallados a mano que se inspiran en la geometría sagrada y el yoga. Echa un vistazo a Adornando Afrodita por Ashley Laux, "Joyas que cantan con su alma" hecho con piedras preciosas, metales, conchas, plumas y perlas. Ceramica del Mar va a tener tasas, vasos y platos de conchas. También, Aya de Cura Sana estara con la venta de sus medicinas naturales y sueros de belleza.

    Busca ropa de playa con estilo y ropa orgánica hecha en Costa Rica? San José por la diseñadora, Hilo de Pez ella estará viajando a Guanacaste para compartir sus bikinis, ropa y accesorios. Residente de Nosara, Bibi Bendixen, tendrá sarongs teñidos a mano, almohadas y bolsas. La Tigra viene con su joyería hecha con piedras, conchas y  plata. Desde Playa Tamarindo, Suspiro Esmeralda Bikinis y Pura Vida Sign están trayendo sus bikinis lindos y el arte en madera. Tambien, Sandalo Art Boutique, ubicado en Playa Samara, estará mostrando su ropa bohemia, joyas y accesorios.

    Una feria de arte en Costa Rica no estaría completa sin un homenaje a la "naturaleza". Arte por Nathan Miller  que se especializa en cuadros de la vida silvestre y la playa. El fotógrafo Matt Vaughan estará exhibiendo sus fotos de surf y naturaleza original. El artista local, Wilson estara vendiendo  sus collares creados con semillas, conchas y madera que se encuentran en Nosara.     Se invita a las organizaciones comunitarias para participar en las ferias de arte como Refugio para la vida silvestre. Ellas van a tener la información de el santuario, tendrán una actividad de decoración de queques para los niños y la venta de joyas para recojer fundos para los animales! Otras  organizaciones comunitarias vienen tambien como la organisacion, Vive el sueño, Pura Vida de Perros, y los artistas del Centro de Reciclaje de Nosara.

    Marque su calendario y unase a estos artistas, diseñadores, y muchos más estas son todas las fechas de las  Ferias de verano, el 13 de diciembre, 17 de enero, 14 de febrero y 20 de marzo. Todas las ferias estan de 10 a 2pm en Restaurante Pacifico Azul en el hotel The Gilded Iguana, Playa Guiones.
